I am Janani Karunakaran, currently working as a Software Engineer at Cognizant, where I serve as a Team Lead. I completed my B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and am presently building my career in the IT industry, growing both professionally and personally with each step of the journey. It has been almost 10 years since I completed my 10th standard in 2016 from Swathi Matriculation School. I studied there from Kindergarten to SSLC, spending my entire childhood within its classrooms and corridors. Time has passed quickly, but the memories of those years remain fresh and deeply rooted in my heart. Swathi Matriculation School is not just an institution for me — it is an emotion. It is where I learned discipline, responsibility, respect, and the value of hard work. The teachers and staff played a significant role in shaping my character and encouraging me to believe in my abilities. One of the proudest moments of my school life was receiving the Gold Coin Award for my 10th standard academic performance in the year 2016, which strengthened my confidence and motivated me to aim higher. Looking back today, I clearly see that the foundation for my growth was laid during my school days. The leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and confidence that I apply in my professional role were first nurtured there. The lessons taught by my teachers went far beyond textbooks — they prepared me to face life with determination and integrity. I also cherish the strong bond I continue to share with my friends and teachers. Even after a decade, those relationships remain meaningful and remind me of the beautiful journey we began together.
